3D Printer New Lighter Pancake Stepper Motor for Direct Drive Setups

Here we have a custom produced pancake stepper motor especially for direct drive conversions/setups.

This motor is lighter than others weighing only 130g and making no difference to print quality in our testing.

We have been running these in our printers for over 6 months and now feel confident enough to offer them to our customers.

These motors are also slimmer at just under 23.5mm allowing fitment in tighter spaces and minimizing the bulk.

All this whilst producing enough torque for even the most demanding applications.

We print in all materials and have never had any issues with missing steps.

We run the setup as pictured with Dual Drive Extruder, Petsfang mount and filament sensor pushing the motor to the limits.

The motor has no issues at all with this :)
