Direct Wire Optocoupler For ABL Auto Bed Levelling Probes - NO / NC 12/24v
Sold as a replacement coupler for our ABL kits but will allow the use of most NPN & PNP sensors.
Can be configured to output an NO or NC signal making it compatible with both factory firmwares and also after market firmwares such as TH3D
If you know the firmware, sensor and printer this will be used with, let us know and we will make sure its configured correctly for you. If no message it will be configured as NC for NPN sensors
Here we have an ABL Optocoupler to enable the use of commonly available capacitive probes.
Available in 2 different versions. Normally Open & Normally Closed.
Different Printers/Firmware require different PCBs If you are unsure of which type you require please message us with the printer / firmware you plan to use and we will send the correct version.
If we don't receive any message before postage cut off time we will send the NC version (Used on most factory firmwares)
A locking JST socket is used to ensure your connectors don't come loose - we have found these work well.
TAKE NOTE OF THE PINOUT for the 3 pin plug.
They are labelled but you need to make sure whatever you connect is wired correctly to avoid upset and dissapointment ;)
This is the complete assembled optocoupler - Just plug in your sensor, connect the 2 pin plug to your printer endstop socket on the pcb and connect the red wire to the positive screw terminal on the power supply and you're good to go.
**ENSURE YOUR 3 PIN SENSOR PLUG IS WIRED AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES ABOVE BEFORE CONNECTING. HAVING A WRONGLY WIRED PLUG CAN DAMAGE THE COUPLER, THE SENSOR, THE PRINTER or ALL OF THE ABOVE**
