This is very easy to use and very cheap way of getting alerts when your battery voltage is low.

This will help prevent damage to your LiPo batteries so you don't over discharge them. This revision features upgraded louder sounders, SMD high brightness LED and robust setup button aswell as improved firmware.

All this provides a device that consumes less power itself whilst improving on previous revisions.

The user is required to set the alarm voltage at a voltage suitable for the batteries & model this device is to be used with.

Set the alarm voltage to the minimum voltage you want to use the battery at. Even momentary drops below this voltage will be bad for the battery and so the alarm will continue to sound until reset or the batteries changed.

This device is designed to prevent unknowingly discharging the battery below a set threshold. The alarm shouldn't be set at a too high of a voltage as this can cause the alarm to sound when the battery is still healthy.

This is lightweight also and can be placed on top of the battery
