USB 2 Power Delete / Data Only Cable Adaptor

Here we have a USB adaptor cable to isolate the power between usb devices.

Plug your printer cable into the usb socket and plug the other end of the adaptor into your computer or rasperry pi.

This is designed to be used with our octoprint kits but there's no reason these can't be used for any use where you need to isolate the devices power lines from each other.

A lot of printer controllers including the popular Creality brand of printer don't have the circuitry to isolate the power from the printer power supply and the power taken from the USB port.

This can result in strange behaviour and sometimes worse when the USB cable is connected at the same time as the printer is turned on.

The controller should only ever be powered from one or the other (Usually the printer power supply unless programming)

By using this adaptor you can keep the printer usb connected to your computer / raspberry pi.

We keep getting asked by our octoprint customers for a solution and so we have decided to make up these adaptor for those that are uncomfortable modifying their existing wiring :)
